Effects of pain Mind Body & Spirit
When the body is in pain most would agree that they can not focus well. And so many go to grab a pill bottle to take a drug that never ends the pain. The side effects to the drugs are endless causing more issues that again take away you ability to focus. As spiritual creatures it is important to stay in tune mentally, physically, and spiritually to enjoy the fullness of the life we have been blessed to experience. The creator has supplied us with many natural resources to help with pain without harmful side effects. Thus helping us stay in tune mentally, physically, and spiritually to enjoy the fullness of life.

Control That Anger Before Satan takes Control of You
There have been times we have all had situations where someone makes us so angry we have chosen to put our faith on the shelf. Instead of letting God handle our situation we took matters into our own hands to only end up with more trouble. This is just what the enemy wants you to do. Today when someone makes you angry remember this scripture so satan won't get a hold on you:
“In your anger do not sin” Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. ~ Ephesians 4:26-27

Standing On HIS PROMISES
Many times we go through trying times but once you know God your storms have a sweet spot of peace. You can just sit back and thank God for all you have as you watch the enemy rage at his worse just to fail because he can't touch your sweet spot of peace during the storm.
Continue to stand on HIS PROMISES: "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." ~ Psalm 23:5

From Grit to Grace: The Spiritual Journey of a Single Mom
"What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops." (Mt 10:27 NAS) The author shares eternal truths which God has revealed to her in times of difficult circumstances with the hope that it will help others who grapple with complex problems. She opens her heart to share what God has used from His Word and other Christian sources to lead her on the journey from an independent, gritty approach to life to an ever increasing dependence on the grace of God. Her experiences as a missionary in Southeast Asia are delightfully portrayed as they occurred along that journey into the more abundant life Jesus has brought to us. The book spans over four decades of time.

Making The Best of This Day
I know that you have awakened to better days. But I know you can look back and say you have seen worse days. Days you probably did not know how you would make it through. Regardless of our aches, pains, and challenges of today. We have been given life. So we can start this day by first understanding that this day may not be all we expected it to be. But, this day we have been blessed. Let us do our best to show / give thanks to The Creator of this blessing.

Think About The Words from Your Mouth
I am sure we have all heard the saying sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me. Well the truth is that negative words can cause more pain and damage than broken bones. As Christians it is important we choose our words and speech to be gracious, wholesome and appealing to uplift and draw unbelievers toward Christ.
James 3:5-6
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell."

Our African American Quote of the Day:
"When Jesus Christ asked little children to come to him, he didn't say only rich children, or White children, or children with two-parent families, or children who didn't have a mental or physical handicap. He said, Let all children come unto me."
